The International School of Bucharest (ISB) is opening a scholarship program for the 2025/2026 academic year, offering up to 17,600 Euros per year to continue studies in IGCSE or IB programs.
Full or partial study scholarships will be granted by the International School of Bucharest for the academic year 2025/2026.
ISB aims to provide access to a high level of education for external candidates aged 14 to 16 who cannot afford the expenses of a private international school, have excellent academic results, impeccable conduct, and reside in Bucharest.
Scholarships are awarded for the IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) program and the IB (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme).
This scholarship program is available to students who are not enrolled at ISB. Students wishing to apply for a scholarship at ISB must demonstrate excellent academic results and have impeccable conduct.
Parents must present their monthly income situation, as required by the ISB Scholarship Committee.
Students will benefit from full or partial scholarships each year, only if academic and conduct standards are maintained at a very high level.
The financial situation of parents is evaluated annually, and parents of scholarship recipients must provide financial information each year to renew the contract on which the study scholarship is allocated.
All applicants for the study scholarship must provide a series of documents, including: the academic transcript for the last three years and the first quarter of the current academic year, salary/pension certificates for both parents for the last three months, as well as a sworn statement from parents declaring that they have no other income apart from salary. The complete list of required documents is available here.
Candidates who do not provide all documents by the deadline, 14th March 2025, will be disqualified.
Following the evaluation of the information and documents provided, selected candidates will be called to the International School of Bucharest for testing.
If you meet all the criteria mentioned above and want to join a highly stimulating academic environment and a internationally recognized school, please send your application by March 14, 2025. Please visit www.isb.ro or write to [email protected] if you have any questions or need details.
